Argyle/Diamond blanket

Here's my take on the argyle design, or maybe diamond design, call it what you may.

I made this lovely blanket sometime ago, was so exciting for me.

Anyways I have written the pattern below for anyone that wants it. Enjoy.....

I used 3 colours brown (colour 1), cream (colour 2) and red (colour 3) but you can use any colour you want. Everything is worked in single Crochet and I carried my colours behind. I'm not so great at writing patterns but I'll do my best so here we go......

Row 1: chain 50 turn

Row 2: 8 Sc with C1, 1sc with C2, 15 Sc with C1, 1Sc with C3, 15sc with C1, 1 sc with C2, 8sc with C1, chain 1with C1 turn

Row 3: 7sc with C1, 3sc with C2, 13sc with C1, 3sc with C3, 13sc with C1, 3sc with C2, 7sc with C1, chain 1 with C1 turn

Row 4: 6sc with C1, 5sc with C2, 11sc with C1, 5sc with C3, 11sc with C1, 5sc with C2, 6sc with C1, chain 1 with C1 turn

Row 5: 5sc with C1, 7sc with C2, 9sc with C1, 7sc with C3, 9sc with C1, 7sc with C2, 5sc with C1, chain 1 with C1 turn

Row 6: 4sc with C1, 9sc with C2, 7sc with C1, 9sc with C3, 7sc with C1, 9sc with C2, 4sc with C1, chain 1 with C1 turn

Row 7: 3sc with C1, 11sc with C2, 5sc with C1, 11sc with C3, 5sc with C1, 11sc with C2, 3sc with C1, chain 1 with C1 turn

Row 8: 2sc with C1, 13sc with C2, 3sc with C1, 13sc with C3, 3sc with C1, 13sc with C2, 2sc with C1, chain 1 with C1 turn

Row 9: 1sc with C1, 15sc with C2, 1sc with C1, 15sc with C3, 1sc with C1, 15sc with C2, 1sc with C1, chain 1 with C1 turn
Row10: repeat row 8
Row 11: repeat row 7
Row 12: repeat row 6
Row 13: repeat row 5
Row 14: repeat row 4
Row 15: repeat row 3
Row 16: repeat row 2
Row 17: repeat row 1
At this point you have completed the first set of diamonds.
Repeat rows 1-17 until you get to your desired length.
